Free to List & Browse
Currently, Hobby Co is completely free to use. There are no fees for creating listings, browsing, or messaging sellers. This may change in the future as we add payment processing and premium features.
Future Fee Structure
When payment processing is implemented, we plan to introduce the following fee structure:

Applied to completed transactions when payment processing is available. This fee covers:
- • Payment processing and security
- • Buyer protection and dispute resolution
- • Platform maintenance and improvements
- • Customer support
Example: For a $100 transaction, the seller receives $92, and Hobby Co receives $8.

Premium tiers are optional and provide enhanced features, not required for selling on Hobby Co.
Optional one-time fee to feature your listing at the top of search results:
Featured listings appear at the top of relevant search results and category pages.
Payment Processing Fees
When payment processing is implemented, payment processing fees (charged by payment processors) will be separate from our marketplace commission. These fees typically range from 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction.
Note: Payment processing fees are standard across the industry and are charged by payment processors, not Hobby Co.
Fee Refund Policy
When fees are implemented, our refund policy will be:
- •Marketplace commission: Non-refundable once a transaction is completed
- •Premium subscriptions: Refundable on a prorated basis if cancelled mid-month
- •Featured listings: Non-refundable once the listing is featured
